主要研究方向
横跨数学动⼒系统与遍历论、天⽂学的太阳系⾏星动⼒学以及⼈⼯智能与机器学习算法等领域。主要成果包括在博⼠期间便突破性地解决了困扰数学界百年的 Painlevé 猜测;近年发现了数亿年前曾有流浪⾏星经过太阳系,与⽊星发⽣过近距离接触;最近,夏志宏创⽴了基于数学原理的全新机器学习算法,⼤幅提升了计算速度和精度,预示着这⼀算法在⼤模型等⼈⼯智能前沿应⽤中将具有重要潜⼒。
二、学术/研究成果综述
Mathematics (Dynamical Systems, Hamiltonian Dynamics):
Solved the Painlev´e Conjeture, a century old mathematics problem proposed by French mathematician (and twice Prime Minister of France) Paul Painlev´e.
Astronomy (Dynamicsevolution of Solar System):
In collaboration with Jian Li, discovered strong evidence suggesting that a
large rogue planet once flew by the solar system more than 300 million years
ago, causing Jupiter to move outward by 0.12 astronomical units.
Computational Algorithms (Machine LearningArtificial Intelligence):
Introduced new machine learning algorithms inspired by pure mathematics,
the algorithm effectively improved the accuracyspeed in many AI applications by several orders of magnitiude.
