Design and micro-physical mechanism of hybrid halide

Abstract:
Some recent progress on theoretically investigating the intrinsic correlation between the macroscopic physical properties and microstructure, proposing underlying micro-physical mechanisms, and designing novel hybrid halide perovskites for photovoltaic applications. In this talk, I will present the deep-seated reasons for the external pressure-driven nonmonotonic bandgap evolution of cubic phase MAPbl3 at the theoretical level, and the revealed mechanism is verified to be universally applicable to different crystal phases. Moreover, I will briefly introduce recent progress in theoretical research on low-dimensional hybrid halide perovskites which are expected to overcome the obstacles of poor stability of hybrid perovskite materials for photovoltaic applications.

吴天敏,福建师范大学光电与信息工程学院教授/博士生导师,“闽江学者奖励计划”特聘教授、福建省高层次引进人才。目前主要研究领域为光电材料设计及微观机理研究,以第一或通讯作者在Nature Communications, Nano Energy, JMater Chem.A, ACS Appl.Mater.Interfaces, J.Phys.Chem. Lett.等高水平学术期刊发表论文20余篇。
